The law firm
Thomás de Carranza
specialized in real estate law, has advised on the purchase of an industrial building in the Méndez Álvaro-Pacífico axis that will be transformed into 43 apartments for sale.
The property, of approximately 4,000m2, is one of the last industrial buildings in one of the most avant-garde areas of Madrid due to its radical urban transformation over the last decade.
The operation, according to the law firm, “has been particularly complex as it has had to open several negotiations at the same time with different sellers and was articulated in two phases: the first, in which 80 percent of the full ownership of the industrial building was acquired in joint ownership, and a second phase, in which the existing condominium was extinguished“.
For Santiago Thomás de Carranza, managing partner of the law firm, “the experience accumulated in this type of transaction has been key to achieving a high level of efficiency in all phases of the operation, especially in the transformation of the building’s use“.
The Firm’s team has been led by partners Iñigo Sánchez del Campo and Santiago Thomás de Carranza.
