The law firm Thomás de Carranza has reinforced its labor area with the incorporation of lawyer Francisco Barco, who will report directly to María Gomes, director of the Department.

Mr. Barco holds a law degree from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and obtained a Master’s Degree in Access to the profession from Universidad de Alcalá de Henares. In addition, he holds a Master’s Degree in Labor Law from the Centro de Estudios Financieros CEF-Udima.

Throughout his career he has worked for companies and law firms such as Grupo Civex Gestión, CSIF U.A. Madrid, Calderón Tébar Consultores or Legaliza2, among others. His professional experience includes the drafting of lawsuits, conciliation papers, enforcement lawsuits and other legal writings, as well as the research of regulations and jurisprudence in labor matters. In addition, he has represented clients in conciliation proceedings and trials and has provided advisory services to both companies and individuals, especially in labor matters.

The Labor and Employment area of Thomás de Carranza Abogados works with clients from various sectors and covers all aspects of the labor life cycle, both in the adoption of preventive measures and in risk mitigation and compliance with national, regional and local laws and regulations. In addition, he works in coordination with other departments of the Firm, especially with the Tax area -advising on the design of remuneration and incentive plans, participation in results or pensions, among others- and with the Corporate department, in the area of mergers and acquisitions -labor audits, senior management contracts or remuneration commitments-.
